On Monday, September 8th, Beyond the Books was excited to compete for a grant at 100 Women for Good's fall meeting.  Publicity co-chair Erica Hartman did an amazing job proposing the organization support a grant for additional social and emotional learning support in Bloomington- Normal schools. While Beyond the Books wasn't selected this round, we were honored to be considered with two amazing non-profits (Onward and Upward Foundation and Safe Families for Children ) and see all the community support. Looking forward to spreading the news about Beyond the Books even further this school year.
